TGT is a R&B supergroup formed by three solo artists: Tyrese, Ginuwine, and Tank. Their name is an acronym of their initials. They released their only studio album, Three Kings, on August 20, 2013 on Atlantic Records. The album features guest appearances from Problem and Black Ty, and production from The Underdogs, Tim & Bob, Brandon "B.A.M." Alexander, and others. The album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 chart, with first-week sales of 76,000 copies in the United States.

The album received mixed reviews from critics, who praised the vocal performances of the trio, but criticized the production and songwriting. AllMusic gave the album four out of five stars, calling it "a satisfying set of contemporary R&B that occasionally deals in nostalgia". Independent Online gave the album three out of five stars, saying that "the album is not bad, but it is not great either". PopMatters gave the album six out of ten stars, stating that "the album suffers from a lack of cohesion and originality".
The album spawned three singles: "Sex Never Felt Better", "I Need", and "Next Time Around". The first single, "Sex Never Felt Better", was released on February 14, 2013. It peaked at number 43 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The second single, "I Need", was released on July 2, 2013. It peaked at number 19 on the same chart. The third single, "Next Time Around", was released in 2014. It did not chart.
